About us

Argentinian Association of Animal Production was founded on 14 October 1968 and was authorized to act as a legal entity 25 February 1976 File No. C-6712 General Inspection of Corporations.

Currently it is the only Association of Animal Production in Argentina, and is affiliated to Latin American Production Animal and the World Association of Animal Production.

Membership

Currently, the Argentina Association of Animal Production has around 650 memberships, which are distributed in different regions of the country and even abroad.

Active members are the majority of Members of the AAPA. It gather professionals from related areas such as Agricultural Engineers Veterinarians, Agricultural Sciences graduated, Engineering Animal scientists, biochemists, biologists, farmers and others.
They are teachers and researchers from Universities, Researchers and Extension Agents from the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA). Other Partners belong to Ministry of Agriculture of different
provinces, are member of the Argentinian Association of Regional Consortiums for Agricultural Experimentation (AACREA), people from private companies, agricultural consultants, free practice, etc.

Adherent Membership category was created for University students of related careers. They charged 50% of the annual fee for the Active Member, presenting regular student certificate, enjoying all the benefits granted by the AAPA to its members.
When students complete their studies, are automatically incorporated into the Association as an active member. Through Adherents Members AAPA expands the opportunity to have direct access to scientific and
technique information through their participation in conferences and meetings and through publications that regularly publishes the Association.

The category of Benefactor and protector membership is related to people, institutions and companies that contributed financially payiing an extraordinary year fee.
